Ascend to New Heights! A Photography Workshop in the French Pyrenees

Immerse yourself in a week of photography under the guidance of myself, Paul Hill MBE, the originator of photographic workshops in the UK, and Maria Falconer FRPS.  

Improve your confidence and enjoy learning new ways to express yourself photographically in this magnificent landscape just a stone’s throw from the delightful French town of Foix.

Our workshop is based at Chez Arran, a renovated farmstead that lies on a sunny hillside, in a deep and impressive mountain valley right at the heart of the Pyrenees, www.chezarran.com. It is now a renowned activity centre that caters for the creative as well as the adventurous.

We will visit authentic French villages and markets, and stunning landscape locations. Together we will eat, drink and sleep photography in a warm, friendly environment with like-minded enthusiasts.

The week will consist of talks, projects and opportunities designed to inspire you. And because there are two teachers, we can work with beginners and advanced participants at the same time, giving one to one attention that we are able to give.

We will demonstrate our individual working methods and share our experience and tips. And we aim to provide a supportive environment where you will receive practical feedback alongside the advice and help necessary to improve your photography.
